Andy Cook, cofounder of Rentabilities, posts his top reasons for why entrepreneurs should enter the global MassChallenge competition this year on his blog (click through on the link above). Andy and Alex Cook’s startup went through the entire MassChallenge competition last year, from being chosen as one of the top 110 finalists, through being selected as one of the final 26 startups, to being one of 12 companies to take home $50,000. Four other companies took home $100,000 at MassChallenge last year, too.
In January, MassChallenge was one of a select few organizations — including TechStars –honored by President Obama as partnering on the Startup America initiative.
MassChallenge is gearing up for its second global challenge, most recently hiring a ‘Chief Mentorship Officer’. Applications to MassChallenge will be open until the beginning of April.
