Last week we thought it pertinent to sift through some of the most eye-catching one-star Yelp reviews of Boston attractions and landmarks. Believe it or not, some of the buildings, structures and locations you and I might think of as celebrated gems don’t necessarily tickle the fancy of everyone who visits them.

But perhaps the most interesting thing we noticed was that on social media many Bostonians actually agreed with several of these reviews. The minority were those who responded defensively, condemning the Yelpers and calling out what they considered to be ignorance.

Whether you agree with the reviews or not, it’s hard to deny the sheer ridiculousness that’s spawned on Yelp. We happen to find it entertaining – albeit it a bit much at times – which is why we opted to find 10 more one-star reviews of Boston goodies we, for the most part, hold dear.
