Don’t worry, folks. Once the presents have been opened and Christmas Day officially comes to a close, you still have something to look forward to. The much-anticipated Tony C’s Sports Bar & Grill is making its long-awaited debut this coming weekend in Somerville’s Assembly Row.

According to an official source, the bar will open right at the tail end of the holiday season, this coming Sunday, December 28.

The 11,000 sq ft baseball-themed venue is named after Red Sox legend and Massachusetts native, Tony Conigliaro. And, as you can see from the photo, the new restaurant features open-faced brick walls dotted with black and white photographs. In addition to the unique decor, this sports bar offers 90 state-of-the-art TVs to meet all of your football-viewing needs.

Diners can expect made-from-scratch menu items, including: New Orleans Shrimp, Philly Cheesesteak Wontons, and the #25 Burger with Vermont Cheddar cheese, smoked BBQ sauce, crispy pork belly and fried egg on a sesame brioche bun, among many others.

If you plan to go, Tony C’s is located at 699 Assembly Row in Somerville and will be open this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The following week, the restaurant will be open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Wednesday. Starting January 1, Tony C’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
