Good and bad news, folks. First, it looks as though one of Boston’s best waterfront restaurants, City Landing, is closing for good this January. According to a release, the restaurant’s last service will be this Saturday, January 10, 2015. The good news, however, is that the restaurant’s Chef-Owner Bill Brodsky will become Boston Nightlife Ventures’ first Chief Culinary Officer.

Bill Brodsky

The chef, who already serves as a consulting chef for the newly re-opened Tap Trailhouse in Faneuil Hall, will transition to his new role, overseeing all Boston Nightlife Ventures projects, this month. According to a release, Brodsky will refine the culinary offerings at Forum Bar & Restaurant, Wink & Nod, The Tap Trailhouse, and Griddler’s Burgers and Dog.

As far as current City Landing employees go, Brodsky plans to enlist City Landing team members in his efforts. Per a release, City Landing’s Chef de Cuisine Patrick Enage will take the wheel at Wink & Nod’s next rotating pop-up concept, slated to launch this spring 2015 after Chef Joshua Lewin’s six month tenure ends.

Experience City Landing before it closes this weekend. If you go, the restaurant is located at 255 State Street in downtown Boston.
