Patio where the first-ever KO Pies/Jack’s Abby Corn Hole Tournament will take place.

There’s something for everyone going on this weekend in Boston. From an event designated for tacos and tequila to a “pay what you can” outdoor yoga class, you’ll be able to find at least a few things that fit what you’re looking for (a.k.a. plenty of ways to get cheap food, alcohol and entertainment). Don’t think we’ve forgotten about those more relaxed events though!

Friday

Second Fridays at the MIT Museum: A Celebration of Polaroid and Edwin Land – 5 to 8 p.m. – MIT Museum – Since everyone thinks they’re a photographer worthy of fame these days (thank you Instagram), why not celebrate Edwin Land’s invention of instant photography? Listen to historical and technological stories told by the people who worked alongside Land at Polaroid. Explore the science of Polaroid through hands-on activities and see the Museum’s artifacts from the Polaroid Collection. Admission is $5 to $10.

Mega Musical Chairs at The Lounge – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Faneuil Hall – Don’t miss this twist on a childhood classic! Participate in the first ever, free Mega Musical Chairs with music provided by the Cocek Brass Band. Elimination rounds and a “Champions Circle” will offer plenty of opportunities to win prizes from Faneuil Hall merchants. Admission is free.

Roseway’s 90th Birthday Bash – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Rowes Wharf, Gate C – Join in a celebration of Roseway’s 90 years of service, featuring live band, Take Out. There will be drinks, snacks, t-shirts and prizes. All proceeds support the educational programs of the World Ocean School aboard this historic schooner. Also, check out the open boat and parade of sails on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $45.

Saturday

From Boat to Boil – 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Sargent’s Wharf – Take a journey from the sea to the stove with this class from Boston Center for Adult Education! Participants will experience a hands-on Boston Lobster Tour with lobsterman Captain Carli and a lobster cooking class taught by Chef Gates Rickard of the newly opened Bear in Boots in Falmouth. Admission is $90.

Marlborough Food Truck Festival – 12 to 5 p.m. – Marlborough Center – Food Truck Festivals of America is pleased to announce the first Marlborough Food Truck Festival, featuring over 20 of New England’s most popular food trucks (so trendy right now, right?). They’ll be serving up a variety of fan favorites including local seafood, BBQ, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, cupcakes and more. Sam Adams beer will also be available. Tickets are $5 for general admission, $10 for general admission with one beer, and $20 for VIP hour (early access, no lines, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, one dessert, and a koozie).

KO Pies/Jack’s Abby Corn Hole Tournament – 1 to 7 p.m. – KO at the Shipyard – KO Pies and Jack’s Abby are coming together for their first ever corn hole tournament. Grab a friend, form a team, and enter! Each team entry gets both members a Jack’s Abby beer and koozie plus a shot at the $250 winner-takes-all cash prize. The event will be NCAA bracket style with winners advancing through the rounds. Tickets are $20.

Summer Liqueurs – 2 to 5 p.m. – The Urban Grape – Looking for the perfect liqueur to add some punch to your summer cocktail? Look no further! Visit The Urban Grape this Saturday afternoon to sample some selections. Admission is free.

Tacos and Tequila – 2:30 to 5 p.m. – Moksa – If you like cocktail demonstrations and tacos, you’re in luck. With a ticket, you’ll be able to sample 12 tequilas, attend demos, and enjoy tacos with a group of tequila producers and suppliers who will explain the distillation process. Tickets are $40.

Sixth Annual Brew at the Zoo – 3:30 to 7 p.m. – Franklin Park Zoo – Don’t miss this beer tasting event that features stations hosted by local breweries and restaurants. Proceeds will support the operation and continued growth of the Zoo, its education programs, and conservation initiatives. Admission is $55 to $65.

Sunday

Outdoor Donation Yoga – 9 to 10 a.m. – Arnold Arboretum – Head to Jamaica Plain on the first and third Sundays of each month for outdoor yoga with Branching Out Yoga. Classes will be held near Dawson Pond, and all levels of practice are welcome. Pay what you can.

PurpleStride Boston – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Boston Common – Wage hope for a better tomorrow with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and thousands of participants this Sunday. This family-friendly awareness walk aims to change the future of pancreatic cancer, the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the US. Admission is $25.

The Golden Girls Brunch – 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Back Bay Harry’s – With a menu including themed cocktails and a custom three-course brunch inspired by The Golden Girls, you’ll be brought back in time to the women of 6151 Richmond Street in Miami, Florida. Popular series highlights and scenes will be playing in the background. Admission is $41.25.

Sports Sunday Presented by WEEI – 1:35 p.m. – The Lawn on D – Enjoy some snacks from GrilleD and grab a cold drink from the tent bar while watching the Red Sox-Mariners game. Also show off your own skills with the speed pitch, ongoing whiffle ball games, and more. The World Series trophy will be there for photo opps, and live music and DJs will entertain guests throughout the day and night. Admission is free.
