Whether or not you’ve tasted the sweet and sour-like Sriracha sauce, chances are you’ve heard of its cult-like following. The hot sauce is known for its perfect blend of chiles, garlic, sugar, salt and mayonnaise, which leaves a surprisingly bearable (and somewhat enjoyable) heat in your mouth. And with the popular Asian hot sauce under fire lately, with news of its factory’s spicy emissions, the Sriracha sauce craze isn’t dying down (and the factory isn’t going anywhere either).

It seems that the hot sauce craze has now even carried over to fast food restaurants. This week the Huffington Post announced Subway’s unveiling of “its creamy sriracha sauce to a national audience.” Yes, you can now find the popular sauce on your next Subway sandwich (if you so desire).

The two sandwiches that will be accompanied and drizzled with Sriracha are the “Sriracha Chicken Melt and the Sriracha Steak Melt.” Not going to lie — that sounds pretty good compared to your typically boring Subway fare.

In addition to Subway sandwiches, Sriracha sauce is packin’ a punch in other ways. Here are a few strange, interesting and slightly unappetizing Sriracha products you can find on shelves today. These products may also make the perfect holiday gift for your Sriracha-loving friends.
