Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was denied bail at his arraignment on Wednesday in Attleboro Superior Court, and today things remain the same as his bail was denied again this time in Bristol Superior Court in Fall River, MA. Judge Dupuis ruled that despite his being willing to submit to a GPS tracking bracelet, Hernandez had the means to flee and could possibly do so. The judge also noted that despite the case’s evidence being circumstantial, that evidence was in fact very strong. Hernandez has been ordered back to jail and to appear in court for a July 24 probable cause hearing.

In addition to first-degree murder, Hernandez’s case includes the following charges: one count of carrying a firearm without a license, two counts of possession of a large capacity firearm, and two counts of possession of a firearm without a valid ID card, according to NFL.com.

The prosecution stated that they are seeking a life sentence for Hernandez without the possibility of parole.
