For those of you who haven’t yet experienced the loud banging pipes and innovative performance of the Blue Man Group, you’re in luck. Here in Boston, we can see the group perform at the Charles Playhouse fairly often. But that doesnt hold true for this Blue Man Group inspired menu.

This weekend only, the Theater District restaurant, Abby Lane, is featuring a special menu inspired by the captivating performers. The restaurant’s blue haired chef and owner, Jason Santos, is preparing an assortment of blue foods like homemade blue potato chips, blue spaghetti carbonara-style, and blueberry mascarpone donuts.

Yeah – I’ve never had blue spaghetti, either.

The menu is available through this Sunday, April 20 – and has already been taste tested by the Blue Man Group, themselves. The performers stopped by Santos’ kitchen this past Wednesday to try out some of the foods and help promote the show’s partnership with Abby Lane.

In case you didn’t know – the restaurant offers a special deal for diners going to the show. If you’re a restaurant guest of Abby Lane’s and you also have tickets to see the Blue Man Group, you’ll receive a special 15 percent discount on your meal. Anyone who mentions the word “Abby” when ordering tickets for the show will also receive discounted tickets to see the Blue Man Group.

It’s a win/win – but even if you can’t make it out to see the show, you can still eat blue spaghetti and donuts this weekend at Abby Lane. Just another way to get loaded up on carbs before this Marathon Monday!
