Whenever I ask my mother if I “look okay,” she always replies, “Yes, but throw on a little lipstick.” Over at NARS, the mother of all beauty brands, lipstick is also on the agenda as the label celebrates 20 years in the business. A newly announced fall campaign features a collection of 40 game-changing hues with 68-year-old English actress Charlotte Rampling as the face of the campaign.

The Audacious Lipstick Collection will launch in September and is inspired by the 12 colors in François Nars’s first-ever collection. Unlike most fall shades, these range from electric red to lavender and can be worn well after the leaves turn. The impeccable ad features Charlotte, a longtime muse of NARS, in a stunning black-and-white photo taken by the founder himself.

Rumor has it that this collection delivers full color in just one stroke. So clear off the vanity, because it may be the only lipstick you’ll ever need. And, of course, my mother would definitely approve.
