Ticket reseller, Ace Ticket, has just announced the acquisition of Cambridge-based Out of Town Ticket Agency. This is Ace Ticket’s 12th acquisition in just 10 years.

“This purchase strengthens Ace Ticket’s ability to offer our customers the best selection of tickets for any event in the Boston area,” says Ace Ticket’s Director of Operations, Adam Clark.

Out of Town Ticket Agency was founded in 1955 by Shelden Cohen. Cohen was also the founder of Out of Town News, which is now a historical landmark located in Harvard Square. Out of Town Tickets offered tickets to all local events here in Boston from the Bruins and Celtics to events at the Charles Playhouse and Opera House.
