Time for a new Twitter pic, Marc.

Boston based Nanigans has just hired one of the first Yahoo employees to leave under the new ‘Marissa Mayer regime.’ Marc Grabowski, a nearly 10 year veteran, and most recently VP Media Sales of North America left Yahoo earlier this summer and will now be joining the local powerhouse Facebook advertising company as COO.

According to a release this morning, “In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Grabowski will scale the company’s sales, marketing, business development and operations teams.”

“Marc understands all facets of online advertising, from sophisticated optimization techniques to the strategic opportunity that social advertising presents to businesses,” shared Ric Calvillo, co-founder and CEO of Nanigans. “We’re excited to have an online media veteran like Marc join our team during this time of high growth.”

Nanigans has certainly seen tremendous growth over the past year and Grabowski is a huge addition to the company. As we reported earlier this year, Nanigans manages 9-figures of Facebook Ad spend annually and averages over 2 billion Facebook Ad impressions per day.

“With its focus on helping large-scale advertisers define and optimize for the lifetime value of their customers, Nanigans has grown quickly to offer the leading Facebook Advertising software platform,” shared Marc Grabowski, Chief Operating Officer of Nanigans. “The depth of the company’s technology and intellectual property coupled with social being at the crux of the next frontier of online advertising are just two of the reasons why I’m excited to join this team.”

Nanigans headcount is now around 60 people and is a quiet powerhouse in this city.
