This melting, re-freezing season we call spring really has me missing summer. And with it, all of those classic warmer weather cuisines that come to mind when you think of breezy, sun-soaked climates.

On the top of my list is Mexican food. But with St. Patrick’s Day coming up, isn’t it kind of anti-climactic to be eating a plate of regular nachos or opting for your (albeit delicious) usual bean-and-cheese burrito?

Well, now you can have your burrito and eat it too.

This St. Patrick’s Day, celebrate everything that’s beautiful about Irish eats while still taking a warm-weather vacation. At least, a flavor vacation.

Anna’s Taqueria will be offering a limited edition St. Patty’s Day burrito filled with corned beef and cabbage. Not Irish enough? Add in some potatoes and mustard, or crank up the Irish-Mexican fusion by tossing in some classic burrito toppings like guac and pico de gallo.

Sounds like a perfect way to follow up that Guinness that you’ll undoubtedly be slugging.

The burritos are first-come, first serve and will be available at all of the Anna’s locations, as long as supplies last. The burritos are running at $5.25 for a regular size and $6.25 for a super size for the more brazen burrito eater.

Anna’s will begin serving the ‘ritos at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 17th.
