Though Apple has remained relatively silent, plugging as many leaks as it can along the way to WWDC next week, leaked SKUs could mean that one of the big updates at their annual conference may be for one the MacBook lines. To add to the likelihood of a refreshed MacBook at WWDC, informative fan blog 9to5mac notes that Apple released 15.4-inch Retina display MacBook Pro at the event last year. Apple, being the creature of habit they are, will probably continue the trend and announce upgrades to at least one MacBook series and maybe a new Macbook Pro release.

9to5mac got its hands on SKUs which they claim “belong to an Apple notebook that comes in two screen sizes,”

Apparently each screen size will come in two configurations, each tailored to specific processor speeds, RAM, and storage space among other specs. The MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with Retina display, last year’s big showcase, are two notebooks by Apple that currently fit the SKU description, the former available in 11-inch and 13-inch configurations, and the latter with 13-inch and 15-inch models.

There’s been no word yet on hard specs, though the same source indicates the “MacBook Air is set to gain an improved microphone system and better front-facing camera, while the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display could become slightly slimmer than the current version.”

No word yet on price either, thought if you’re going to look back at past pricing points, last year’s MacBook Pro with Retina display went for $2,199 and included a 2.3GHz quad-core i7 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. Opting for a 2.6 quad core i7 and 512GB flash storage went for a hefty $2,799.
