Coming off from last week’s $6.2M investment and an official launch (formerly known as Apparent Networks), Wellesley Hills based AppNeta — the only cloud-based provider of instant-value network performance management solutions — has added Alan Matthews to its Board of Directors. Matthews is the founder and Chairman of Rapid7. From the release:

“Matthews brings more than 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and executive in the high tech industry. Bitstream

Marlborough-based Bitstream (NASDAQ: BITS), a leading developer of software technologies and applications for the graphic art and mobile communications industries including its recently released BOLT mobile browser, announced today that its CEO and President Anna Chagnon has resigned. The company has appointed Chairman of the Board Amos Kaminski as the interim CEO. From the release:

Norwood based Gryphon, the world leader in on-demand contact governance solutions, has appointed Bart Geiser as VP Sales. From the release:

Kiva Systems

North Reading based Kiva Systems, a developer of game-changing mobile-robotic solutions that automate e-commerce order fulfillment and warehouse operations, has added Patrick J. Scannell, Jr. to its Board of Directors. From the release:

“Scannell previously served as senior vice president, CFO and treasurer of Netezza Corporation. Scannell brings more than 30 years’ experience in finance and operations to Kiva’s board.
