You’ve been warned, folks! As Boston Globe columnist Scott Kirsner tweeted out yesterday, prepare yourself for complete pandemonium in Central Square today as Bao Nation gives out free bao to customers.

The fast-casual restaurant, which offers Asian bun sandwiches (bao) and dumplings, posted a message to Facebook yesterday announcing a special giveaway alert. Today, December 18 the restaurant will be passing out free bao to those who “like” Bao Nation on Facebook and show up between 5 and 7 p.m.

Bao Nation opened this past fall in Cambridge’s Central Square neighborhood. If you go, the restaurant is located at 575 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge.
