For those Beacon Hill dwellers and food lovers who enjoy strolling along Charles Street, you’re in luck. There looks to be a new gourmet food shop coming soon.

Boston Restaurant Talk is reporting that “the folks behind a couple of local wine stores are opening the place.” Beacon Hill Wine, located in both Boston and Medford, plans to open it’s gourmet counterpart “within sight of Beacon Hill Wine” on Charles Street.

This Twitter post from yesterday confirmed the upcoming Beacon Hill Gourmet location.

For those interested, the Beacon Hill Wine & Gourmet in Medford provides both domestic and international artisan cheese selections, as well as Dom’s Sausages and Steak Tips. Not to mention, will also custom order any cut of beef for their customers.

In addition, they also sell local food products such as “To Die for Dips” as well as “creme fraiche, pates, fromage blanc and an assortment of salami and panini rolls to enjoy,” according to the website.

The note above says the gourmet food store should be opening in Beacon Hill this spring.
