The cold, raw weather conditions didn’t seem to stop many spectators from setting up shop along the Boston Marathon route and cheering on the thousands of runners who were pounding pavement on Monday. And aside from the motivating roar of the crowd were a few memorable signs that simply couldn’t go unacknowledged.
After all, running 26.2-miles is undeniably physically demanding, but creating an original poster that alleviates runner’s pain for even a moment — now that’s a sign of mental strength. Pun intended.
