Get ready to ring in the new year with small plates and charcuterie! According to an official source, BISq, short for “Bergamot in Inman Square,” is set to open on January 7, 2015.

The much-anticipated restaurant is being opened by the same team behind Somerville’s Bergamot restaurant. Per an earlier release, Bergamot GM Servio Garcia will be splitting his time between both locations while Chef Bazzinotti will oversee the kitchen with Chef-Owner Keith Pooler, who will also be sharing his time between both restaurant locations. Bergamot’s wine director, Kai Gagnon, will be overseeing the beer and wine program at the new BISq eatery.

The 49-seat restaurant will feature two bars, subway wood panels and a wine chandelier. Earlier this year, BISq launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $15K for improvements to the new space. The restaurant surpassed its goal, raising a total of $30,621.

If you plan to visit this January, the restaurant is located at 1071 Cambridge Street in Inman Square. According to a release, BISq will be open for dinner seven nights a week.
