Due to impending Winter Storm Juno, which is expected to dump some 20 to 30 inches of snow on the Greater Boston Area, some airlines are waiving their change fees to allow people to easily reschedule their flights.

The conditions created by Juno are expected to be white-out, meaning travel is thought to be “impossible and life threatening” and nearly every major airline is offering the waiver as of Sunday night.

According to USA TODAY, “The details vary by airline, but most allow passengers flying through to or through the Northeast to make one itinerary change without paying the standard change fee.”

For customers wishing to make alternate travel arrangements without penalty, a wavier for Boston is covered only on Tuesday, Jan. 27. for Air Canada travel.

But Boston is also covered for the following:

  • Alaska Airlines: Ticket reissue for flights on Jan. 26 to 27 for one ticket change. New travel must occur by Jan. 30.
  • America Airlines & US Airways: Ticket reissue charge will be waived for one ticket change
