Welcome to another lazy Sunday (sans football, of course). But hey, at least you have brunch to look forward to. And this week, we recommend heading to Boston Chops, recently named one of Food & Wine magazine’s “Best New Steakhouses.”

While you might not think of the South End restaurant as “brunchy,” we’re pretty sure their recently-launched Prime Brunch will make you think twice. The menu features inventive versions of brunch classics along with classic steakhouse staples. Not to mention, a Raw Bar Happy Hour – yes, please!

It’s Tipsy Time — Here are the Brunch Buzz Deets

When

Brunch at Boston Chops is served every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Raw Bar Happy Hour is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where

Boston Chops is located in the South End at 1375 Washington Street.

What

If you’re looking for a steak dinner in the morning, we recommend the Prime Steak Frites, which includes an 8 oz. Hanger, Club Eye NY Strip, or Filet Mignon served with frites, seasonal greens, and an array of house-made sauces like Boston Chops House, or Bordelaise.

Or, try their Huevos Rancheros with braised beef cheek, black beans, avocado, and tortilla.

The Brunch Buzz Drink

Where do we even start? Boston Chops’ bold and creative cocktails make for quite a buzz-worthy selection in the morning. If you’re in the mood for a bloody mary, try either the Prime Raw Bloody with oyster and jumbo cocktail shrimp, or the Pickled Mary cocktail with pickled asparagus, green beans, frog balls, and cornichons.

Boston Chops also serves up a massive 14 oz. Mimosa. The choice is yours – but it won’t be easy!
