Just because it’s Monday (sob) doesn’t mean your social life has to go into sleep mode until the weekend. Whether you’re partaking in Bastille Day celebrations or reworking your calendar now that the World Cup is officially over, there’s plenty of fun to be ha this week in Boston, so go have it!

Monday

Summer Daiquiri Days – July 14-18 – The Painted Burro – In honor of Hemingway and the upcoming National Daiquiri Day, The Painted Burro in Davis Square is hosting five days of daiquiris, all inspired by Hemingway’s work and travels. Mixed with Privateer Rum, the cocktails will be available from 5 to 10 p.m. each night. A National Daiquiri Day party on July 19 with follow.

Seafood Charcuterie with Francisco Millan of Row 34 – 6 to 9 p.m. – BCAE – Francisco Millan, Chef de Cuisine at Row 34, is teaching a BCAE class about seafood charcuterie. Learn to make your own cured salmon, smoked fish and more. The class is $70 for non-members, $60 for members.

Jack’s Abbey Beer Dinner – 6:30 p.m. – 51 Lincoln – Head to 51 Lincoln in Newton for a five course beer dinner with each course paired with a different Jack’s Abbey beer. Tickets are $75.

Bastille Day Celebration – 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. – Beat Hotel – The second half of Beat Hotel’s two day celebration takes place tonight with French inspired foods, cocktails and music from French singer Chloe Perrier. The special menu will be served starting at 5 p.m., with the performances beginning at 7:30 p.m.

7th Annual Bastille Day Celebration – 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. – The Beehive – For more French celebrations, head to The Beehive in the South End for the restaurant and venue’s 7th annual Bastille Day party. Edith Piaf-inspired band C’est si bon will be performing starting at 7:30 p.m. and there will be French inspired dishes and drinks.

Tuesday

Ducali’s Five Year Anniversary Celebration – 6 to 8 p.m. – Ducali – Join Ducali in the North End to celebrate the restaurant’s five year anniversary in the best way possible: a grown up pizza party. Pizza, beers and other party fare will be priced at $5 each and all proceeds will benefit the ALS Cellucci Fund, and there will be raffles and prize giveaways.

Raise the Bar: Foundations and Formulas for Better Drink Making – July 15 to 18 – The Hawthorne – Learn from the mixologists at The Hawthorne about making a better drink during this three-part event series. From The Basic Formulas, to Variations on a Theme, to Drinks for a Crowd you’ll be an expert mixologist by the end. Classes are $30 each or $75 for all three.

Wednesday

New and Rare Beer Launch with Backlash – 7 p.m. – East End Grille – Join Backlash and Pintley this Wednesday night to be the first to sample a new beer and hang out with the founders for a night of discussions and drinking. The event is free to attend.

InquisEATive Presents: Blue Inc. – 7:30 p.m. – Blue Inc. – InquisEATive, a new company aiming to introduce people to the restaurants around them through tasting menus, will be hosting a dinner at Blue Inc. this Wednesday. For $35, you can sample two entrees and one appetizer.

Thursday

Radio 92.9 Copley Concert Series: J. Roddy Walston and the Business – 5 to 8 p.m. – Copley Plaza – Radio 92.9 is hosting free outdoor concerts on Copley Plaza this summer, and this Thursday, J. Roddy Walston and the Business will be performing along with Sarah Blacker and Air Traffic Controller.

12th Annual Taste of Cambridge – 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. – University Park Common – Head to the University Park Common for the 12th Annual Taste of Cambridge, which will bring together over 100 of the town’s best restaurants for you to sample. There will be craft beer and wine, lawn games, grilling, a raw bar as well as plenty of great food. Tickets are $50 for GA, $75 for VIP and $15 for kids. Note: This event has been rescheduled from Tuesday, July 15 due to inclement weather forecasts.

Esplanade Summer Dock Party – 7 to 10:30 p.m. – Community Boating Inc. Docks – Join the Esplanade Friends Council this Thursday night for dinner, drinks and dancing on the Community Boating docks. Tickets are $75, and there will be wine provided by Drync, a champagne reception and prize giveaways.

SomerMovie Feast: “Fried Green Tomatoes” – Sundown – City Hall Concourse – Somerville’s summertime movie series continues this Thursday with a screening of “Fried Green Tomatoes” beginning at sundown.
