It’s a beautiful September Monday, and there’s plenty waiting for you to do this week in the city. From a bowling tournament with Jerod Mayo, to a collaboration between Hopsters and Bully Boy Distillers, get out there and enjoy the much more mild weather this week while you can.

Monday

5th Annual Mayo Bowl – 6 to 10 p.m. – King’s Dedham – Join New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo at King’s in Dedham for the 5th Annual Mayo Bowl, a bowling tournament that brings fans and football players together to support Boston Medical Center. There will also be live and silent auctions.

Tuesday

“Hollywood Glamour” Exhibit at the MFA – September 9 – MFA – Step back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood and celebrate the glamour of the silver screen at the opening of the MFA’s new exhibit, Hollywood Glamour: Fashion and Jewelry from the Silver Screen.

Fenway to the Runway Fashion Show – 12 p.m. – Saks Fifth Avenue – Red Sox wives will be modeling the latest designer collections this Tuesday at Saks Fifth Avenue for an afternoon fashion show. Attendees will be treated to lunch and cocktails, and 100 percent of ticket sales will be donated to Red Sox Scholars and RBI Softball and Baseball programs.

2nd Annual Flatbread Benefit for Black Cat Rescue – 5 p.m. – Flatbread Pizza – Support Black Cat Rescue with Flatbreads by purchasing a large or small pizza. Money from each purchase will be donated to the cause, and the team will also be selling merchandise on site at the store.

Park’d: An 80s Throwback Party – 6 to 9 p.m. – Greenway Carousel – Join the Greenway for their first carousel party with unlimited carousel lines, live music by the Swinging Johnsons, pizza from Stoked Pizza, and an outdoor bar. Tickets ($30) gets you food and two drink tickets.

Wednesday

4th Annual Tech Gives Back Day of Service and Block Party – 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. – The Lawn on D – Join TUGG, Silicon Valley Bank and Boston’s entrepreneurs for a day of community service supporting the city’s nonprofits, followed by a block party with food, music and drinks. Tickets for the block party are $50, while volunteer sign ups are free.

Back Bay Night Out – 5 to 8 p.m. – Back Bay Shops/Prudential Center – Head to the Back Bay neighborhood to celebrate the bustling business community with giveaways, discounts, and activities, like free Sephora makeovers, a pop-up lookbook, and a free screening of Confessions of a Shopaholic outside.

Boston DIY Party – 5:30 to 8 p.m. – Night Shift Brewing – Join 9000 Things and Night Shift Brewing for their first DIY party the encourages creativity. The activity will be decoupaging up-cycled bottles over beer provided by Night Shift Brewing. Tickets are $25.

Kosmic Mother Funking Party – 6 to 8 p.m. – Ned Devine’s – Sam Adams is kicking off their 12-city tour here in Boston to promote their new limited release beer, Kosmic Mother Funk. Be of the first to try the beer at one of the few places pouring it, Ned Devine’s, and be entered to win a home brewing kit and special Sam Adams tour.

Sting! XVIII: Landscapes – 6:30 p.m. – The Beehive – Join The Beehive and resident curator Jennifer Epstein for the 18th installment of their artist series, Sting! The theme this time around is landscapes, which 12 local artists will be reinventing. Free to attend.

Boston Comedy Arts Festival – September 10 through 14 – Various Locations – Improv, sketch and stand up comedy acts will come together for five days of laughter, hosted by ImprovBoston and featuring comedians from all over the country. Shows are held at ImprovBoston, Oberon, Brattle Theater and more.

Thursday

Bully Boy Custom Brew – 4 to 10 p.m. – Hopsters – Bully Boy Distillers is collaborating with Hopsters to create a limited edition custom brew: an Imperial Stout infused with flavors and aromas of whiskey and oak, to be called Down Boy Stout. Twenty guests are invited to help brew the beer by RSVPing in advance, while the rest can enjoy Bully Boy cocktails at the Hopsters bar as well as a meet and greet with Bully Boy’s Will Willis.

Tech Cocktail’s Boston Mixer and Startup Showcase – 6:30 to 9 p.m. – District Hall – Innovators, entrepreneurs, and cocktail lovers are invited to Tech Cocktail’s mixer that combines networking with speed-round startup pitches, over good drinks.

WGBH Food and Wine Festival – September 11 to 14 – WGBH Studios – This Thursday, the WGBH Food and Wine Festival kicks off for the weekend, bringing together locally grown food sources and premiere wines from the six New England states. Eat, drink and attend different events over the weekend.
