If you’re looking to end June with a bang, we recommend hitting up one of these exciting events happening in the Hub this week. From beer dinners to free falafel lunches, there are plenty of things to look forward to. Here’s what we recommend penciling in over the next few days.

Monday

Dog Day at Fenway Park – 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Fenway Park – Fenway Park will host a “Dog Day at Fenway” event, presented by NutriSource Super Premium Pet Foods. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the ballpark for an evening walk around the warning track. Tickets are $10, dogs enter for free.

Benefit Brunch & Lunch at Legal Oysteria – June 28 to June 29 – Legal Oysteria – Legal Oysteria will host an Italian brunch and lunch service to benefit the local community of Charlestown this Sunday and Monday. Beneficiaries of the fundraiser include the Monument Square Neighborhood Association and the Friends of the Training Field. Tickets are $10.

il Casale Lexington Hosts Smuttynose Brewing Company Beer Dinner – 6 p.m. – il Casale Cucina Campana – il Casale Cucina Campana in Lexington is hosting a beer dinner with Smuttynose Brewing Company this Monday. Guests are invited to indulge in a five-course menu with dishes created by Chef Dante de Magistris and beer pairings expertly brewed by Smuttynose Beer Company. The dinner is $60 per person.

Townsman’s Matt Jennings is “Top Dog” at The Kirkland Tap & Trotter – 5:30 p.m. – The Kirkland Tap & Trotter – Hailed as the “Prince of Pork,” Townsman’s Matt Jennings will be the next chef joining forces with Tony Maws and debuting his Guest Dog at The Kirkland Tap & Trotter. $16 per hot dog.

Tuesday

The Just Crust 2nd Anniversary Party – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Just Crust Pizzeria – This free event will feature community speakers like State Representative Marjorie Decker, Cambridge City Councillor Leland Cheung, The Just Crust owner and Labor Attorney Shannon Liss-Riordan, and more. There will be food discounts, a raffle, giveaways and Berkshire Brewing Company beers. Admission is free.

The Chubby Chickpea Hands Out Free Falafel – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – The Greenway at Rowes Wharf –  The Chubby Chickpea is celebrating their five year anniversary this week by giving away 500 free falafel. In addition, five of those falafels (one for each year of business) will have a golden ticket hidden inside the wrapping, which will allow entry into owner Avi Shemtov’s cookbook release party next month.

Wednesday

Frog Pond Spray Pool Opening Day – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Frog Pond at the Boston Common – The spray pool is back this summer starting on Wednesday. Mayor Marty Walsh and the Boston Parks & Recreation Department will be there to celebrate the reopening. The event will also feature giveaways, games, refreshments, science experiments, face painting, magicians, and more. Admission is free.

Ribs, White & Blue – July 1 to August 31 – Elephant Walk – In honor of Independence Day, The Elephant Walk in Boston’s South End neighborhood, is launching its new ongoing rib special, beginning Wednesday, July 1. Every evening, Executive Chef Nasda De Monteiro will offer specialty ribs for $14, in addition to regular menu items.

Trident Booksellers & Cafe Booze and Books Indoor BBQ Party – 6 to 8 p.m. – Trident Booksellers & Cafe – Head to this monthly event for BBQ grub, drink specials (including a red, gold, and blue mimosa flight), appetizers, games and more. Tickets are $5.

Boston Harborfest 2015 – July 1 to July 5 – Various Locations – Boston Harborfest is a Fourth of July Festival that showcases the colonial and maritime heritage of Boston. The event kicks off on July 1 and will include Revolutionary re-enactments, walking tours, visits from U.S. naval ships, free concerts, cruises, museum exhibits, and more. Admission is free.

Museum of Fine Arts Concerts in the Courtyard – 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. – MFA – The MFA is kicking off its concerts in the courtyard this week. The series will feature the best in folk, world, and jazz performances. This Wednesday, the series will feature the Ghost Train Orchestra. Ticket price varies.

Thursday

East Coast Classic – 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. – Gillette Stadium – This summer, the Drum Corps International Tour will return to Foxboro, Massachusetts’ Gillette Stadium for the first time since the DCI World Championships came to the venue a decade ago. The East Coast Classic will serve as a special celebration of the Boston Crusaders’ 75th anniversary season. Ticket price varies.

Foundry on Elm’s Beer Dinner Series – 5 p.m. – Foundry on Elm – Foundry on Elm is announcing the lineup for its weekly Beer Dinner Series during the month of July. Each Thursday, Foundry on Elm features a two-course prix fixe menu paired with suds from a different stateside brewery for only $20. Foundry’s Chef Shayne Nunes and Beer Czar Geoff Thompson collaborate to develop the evening’s carte du jour, which is available in addition to the regular menu. No reservations required.

Johnny D’s Anthem Entertainment Presents International Music Festival – 7 p.m. – Johnny D’s in Somerville – The International Music Festival will feature numerous musical artists including the Doug MacDonald Band, Carissa Johnson and more. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 each.
