We don’t blame you if you’re planning on hiding inside until the wind chill is back above 0 degrees. But still, the show must go on. Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Boston; for more fun stuff to do, check out the best event happening this month in the city.

Friday

(Some of) The Best of 2014 – January 9-22 – The Brattle Theater – Look back on the year’s best films, or at least some of them, with The Brattle Theater, where they’ll be screening the big names for the entire month. Think “The Babadook,” “Grand Budapest Hotel” and “The Lego Movie.”

Saturday

Aeronaut’s Winter Seasonal – 2 to 11 p.m. – Aeronaut Brewing Co. – Aeronaut is hosting a winter party, complete with food trucks, live music and newly released beers. Free to attend, pay as you eat and drink.

Winter Wonderland: A Boozy Gelato Pop Up by Ice Cubed – 5 to 8 p.m. – Kitchen, Inc. – The first pop up of the collaborative Ice Cubed is hosting its first pop up, featuring a flight of spirit-inspired gelato, signature punches and more treats. Tickets are $25.

Hot Stove Cool Music Boston Benefit Concert – 7 to 10 p.m. – Paradise Rock Club – This charity event is in its 15th year of benefitting the Foundation To Be Named Later, combining music and baseball and bringing together celebrity guests, silent auctions and live music. Tickets are $40.

The Second Annual 1925 Metropolitans Party – 9 p.m. – Citi Wang Theater – Likeminded young professionals are invited to come celebrate the arts and philanthropy while supporting Citi Performing Arts Center’s free education programs. There will be music and dancing all in a 1920s style. Tickets are $100.

Sunday

No Pants Subway Ride – 2 p.m. – Brave the cold in the bare for the sake of the No Pants Subway Ride, taking place this Sunday at 2 p.m. The exact starting point will be announced tomorrow, so if you’re planning on participating, pay attention. There will be an after party following the ride, also pants-free, naturally.
