Friday

iFest Boston – September 26-28 – Seaport World Trade Center – Head to the Seaport World Trade Center for Boston’s Irish extravaganza, featuring food, dance and music. There will be four stages with performances all weekend long, inviting Boston to get to know Ireland’s modern traditions.

ArtWeek Boston: Fall 2014 – September 26 to October 5 – Multiple Locations – Hosted by Citi Performing Arts Center, ArtWeek is back with a series of cultural events, 77 in total, that are made possible by 130 different organizations. From the unveiling of the Edgar Allen Poe statue to a Boston Date Night series with an artistic spin, there’s plenty to do during ArtWeek. Check out the complete schedule here.

Saturday

BostInno’s BosFIT – 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – The Club by George Foreman III – This Saturday morning, join the BostInno team and the Club by George Foreman III for a fitness expo that gets you access to four fitness classes, discussion panels and more for industry experts. Plus, you’ll leave a goodie bag stuffed with free classes around the city, meaning you get over 10 fitness classes for the price of one. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased below.

Design Exchange Boston – September 27 & 28 – District Hall – The theme of this year’s two-day design and innovation conference is ‘Start Experimenting.’ Dedicated to celebrating the impact of design, the conference invites entrepreneurs, professionals, students and those savvy in the design space to come discuss ideas, events and more.

Let’s Talk About Food – Sept. 27 – Copley Square – The region’s largest food education festival is back.

Oktoberfest Outdoor Biergarten – September 27 & 28 – Olde Magoun’s Saloon – Celebrate the Oktoberfest season at a free, oudoor biergarten at Olde Magoun’s in Somerville. There will be Paulaner beer in German steins and Oktoberfest food.

Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival – Noon to 6 p.m. – Columbus Ave., South End – The 14th annual Berklee Beantown Jazz returns this Saturday to the South End, with three stages of music along with arts and crafts and food and drink. Free to attend.

Fall Fest Patio Party – 1 to 4 p.m. – Tico – Join Tico for the restaurant’s last patio party of the season. The ‘Fall Fest’ party includes seasonal cocktails and an open grill for sausages. Tickets are $35 and include all food and drink.

Cape Cod Brew Fest – 1 to 4 and 5 to 8:30 p.m.- Barnstable Fairgrounds – If you find yourself on Cape Cod this weekend, be sure to head to the Cape Cod Brew Fest. With over 50 breweries and 200 beers to try, the festival brings together the best of New England’s beers. Tickets are $55.

Lookbook Live with GQ and Glamour – 1 to 6 p.m. – Burlington Mall – Need to go fall shopping? Head to the Burlington Mall for Lookbook Live, an event hosted by Simon Mall and GQ and Glamour featuring stylists, social media challenges and giveaways.

SeptemBEER Bar Crawl – 1 to 6:30 p.m. – Davis Square – Join Boston Ski & Sports Club on a bar crawl through Davis Square, hitting five of the best bars in the area. Drinks, appetizers and swag will be collected at each stop. Tickets are $15.

2014 Fluff Festival – 3 to 6 p.m. – Union Square – The stickiest celebration in Somerville is back. Head to Union Square on Saturday afternoon for the 9th annual “What the Fluff? A Tribute to Union Square Invention” Fluff Festival, honoring the hometown sweet treat. There will be live music, performances and “fluffy games and shenanigans.”

Sunday

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Massachusetts – 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. – Carson Beach – The Race for the Cure is taking place this Sunday in Massachusetts to help the fight against breast cancer. Walk or run the 5K race to raise money for breast cancer research.

Studio Sundays: Nicole Aquillano – 4 p.m. – Tavern Road – Studio Sundays return this weekend at Tavern Road with featured artist Nicole Aquillano. Head to TR Street Foods within Tavern Road for cocktails, snacks and art.
