Linkable Networks Hires Gene Wisniewski as SVP of Sales

Boston-based Linkable Networks has tapped Gene Wisniewski as its new Senior VP of Sales. With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience–including executive stints at PepsiCo, Catalina Marketing, YOU Technology, and Inmar Inc.– Wisniewski is poised to support and further drive the company’s growth with his consumer packaged goods and marketing services expertise.

Tom Burgess, CEO of Linkable, noted in a press release that “Gene’s background, especially with his work in the loyalty marketing space, will complement our ongoing efforts to build out not only our customer and consumer base, but also bring a whole new volume of SKU and merchant-level offers to MyLinkables.” Wisniewski is excited in his own right, noting “I look forward to driving the sales initiatives that will support and assist in the growth of our retail (merchant) network and drive consumer value in a unique way.”

GrabCAD Adds Jon Stevenson as VP of Tech and Grant Thomas-Lepore as Product Lead

GrabCAD touts itself as being a community for engineers to share their talent, expand knowledge, find a dream project, and work with tools and features that make life better. The Boston engineering network recently added to major assets to their team: Jon Stevenson as VP of Technology and Grant Thomas-Lepre as Product Lead.

Stevenson brings 30 years worth of CAD clout with him having been responsible for the development of the most widely deployed mechanical CAD products at General Motors, Shape Data, Computervision, Unigraphics, ApplQ, Bladelogic and, most recently, Veracode. Thomas-Lepre comes from Gemvara, where he was the seventh employee and was instrumental in the development of their core customization product while holding a patent for the rendering process that creates the millions of images on the site today.

Mobile map-based solution skobbler has integrated the app for NOOK and the app is available for free on NOOK Apps.
