Hey, it may have been a long week but at least there’s a shining light at the end of the tunnel. Not only is today Thursday (a.k.a. almost Friday) but this upcoming MLK weekend promises an extra day off for many of us. And that means, more time out on the town (or watching Netflix, depending on how you look at it).

Whether or not you’re looking to stay in or go out, chances are you’re definitely looking for a libation to fit the extended weekend vacation. And fortunately, the Davis Square bar at Foundry on Elm has you covered – with their scotch cocktail topped with whipped cream. We’ve also got the recipe – just in case you’re looking to stir it up at home.

Buy It:

If you’re looking to hit the town – all in the name of scotch – head to Foundry on Elm and order the “Hop Scotch” cocktail at the bar. This cocktail is made with scotch, the always delicious Evangelista Abruzzo Punch, a bit of syrup and of course, whipped cream. Oh, and did I mention it’s a warm cocktail? Yes, the steamed cocktail will warm you right up from the inside out.

Make It:

And if you happen to have a milk steamer in your apartment (perhaps an espresso machine), then you can easily make this warm cocktail right at home. Here are the recipe and directions – straight from the bar at Foundry on Elm.
