Happy Veteran’s Day, Boston. Today we celebrate and commemorate the service of all U.S. military veterans who have put their well-beings and lives on the line to keep us safe. Boston, of course, will be observing the holiday with it’s annual Veteran’s Day parade and to help you trek downtown to watch along the sidewalk, here are some traffic advisory tips to keep you from road to getting towed or falling subject to your Mr. Hyde-like road rage.

According to the City of Boston website,  parade participants will commence their procession from the Boston Common at 1 p.m. and make their way up Tremont Street to Cambridge Street upon which they’ll finish at City Hall Plaza.

In order to keep you from constantly weaving in an out of traffic due to stoppages and closed roads, here’s the traffic advisory posted by the city. The following restrictions are in effect:

“Tow Zone No Stopping Monday Parade”

Boylston Street

Both sides, fromCharles Street South to Tremont Street

Happy Veteran’s Day, Boston and a big ‘thank you’ to those who defend us by way of the armed forces.
