While your week gets a nice and slow start, let’s check out what to do this week in the city. After all, the Patriots are on their way to the Superbowl, and we’re thinking you have some party left in you from the weekend.

Monday

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Open House – 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. – MFA – Not sure what to do with your day off? Visit the MFA. For the twelfth year in a row, admission is free in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There will be guided tours, performances, special displays and more.

Cambridge MLK Day of Service – 2 to 5 p.m. – City Hall, Cambridge Senior Center and the YWCA – Partake in some community service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day with Many Helping Hands 365. Canned good donations are also being accepted.

Half Off at the Hall – January 19 to March 1 – Quincy Market – Starting today, Quincy Market at Faneuil Hall is running a series of half-off promotions in their food market. Get major deals on items everywhere from Boston Pretzel to Wagamama.

Tuesday

Clown Shoes Beer Dinner – 6 p.m. – Restaurant dante – Chef/Owner Dante de Magistris is hosting a five-course dinner menu paired expertly with different Clown Shoes brews. Reservations are $55, and for the full menu, click here.

Opus Affair January – 7 to 9 p.m. – Stoddard’s – Come mingle with Opus Affair for the third anniversary of the Punch Bowl Fund. Guests choose one of three featured organizations to donate money to and score a glass of punch in exchange. The featured organizations this month are Bridge Rep of Boston, Girls Rock Camp, and Opera on Tap.

Wednesday

Pop Up Ramen Dinner – 7 to 9 p.m. – TBA – Concept Kitchen is hosting a pop-up ramen dinner near Harvard Square on Wednesday. The three-course prix fixe menu costs $34 per person, and guests will be emailed the location address three days in advance.

‘Top Chef’ Viewing Party – 7 p.m. – Catalyst – The final episode of the ‘Top Chef’ season that was filmed in Boston (the season finale was filmed outside of Massachusetts) will be screened at Catalyst this Wednesday. The party will be located in the bar area starting at 7 p.m., and the episode will air at 9 p.m.

Thursday

New Year New You Speed Beauty Event – 5 to 9 p.m. – Savas Studios – Head to Savas Studios to learn tips and tricks for doing your own hair, makeup and nails even better in the new year. There will be demos, cocktails and raffles throughout the evening. Tickets are $10.

Winter Wanderlust Wine Dinner – 6:30 p.m. – ester – Spend Thursday evening at a Winter Wanderlust Wine Dinner at ester in Dorchester. There will be a seasonal four course menu created by Chef Lola, complemented by wines chosen by wine director Tim Paulus.
