Pound & Pour Boston Marathon Fundraiser – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Ned Devine’s – Take a 45 minute ‘POUND’ class, followed by drinks, apps and raffles this Saturday in order to raise money for the American Liver Foundation and one runner’s journey to the Marathon.

Valentine Gras – 12 to 7 p.m. – Faneuil Hall bars – Crawl in Boston is combining Valentine’s Day and Fat Tuesday into one massive bar crawl throughout Faneuil Hall.

Sam Adams Cold Snap Party – 6 to 9 p.m. – Sam Adams Brewery – Celebrate Sam Adams’ Cold Snap brew at a party at the Boston brewery. There will be beers, free samples and plenty of food. Tickets are $30.

Big Night Boston – 7 p.m. – House of Blues – Big Brothers Big Sisters Massachusetts’ biggest fundraiser of the year is this Saturday, and Shaggy and the Goo Goo Dolls are headlining the party. Tickets support the organization’s ability to match youths with caring adults.

Sunday

Local is for Lovers Valentine’s Day Market – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Center for the Arts at the Armory – Somerville Local First’s next marketplace is in honor of Valentine’s Day. Go browse the offerings of local vendors for a potential gift for your boo.

Day in the Life of a Cider Maker – 3 to 4 p.m. – Downeast Cider House – The first of a recurring “Day in the Life” series at Downeast Cider is this Sunday. Cider Maker Michael Alfonso will do a live cider making demonstration as a tutorial for those who want to make it at home, or just want to learn more about the experience.
