This stunning photo around the reflecting pool in the Symphony area of Boston was taken last night. It captures some of the most famous skyscrapers and buildings in Boston. From left to right in the photo:

  • First Church of Christ, Scientist: designed in the sixties along with a plaza and the reflecting pool pictured, this is The Mother Church and headquarters of the Christian Science Church
  • The Prudential Tower: more fondly known as The Pru, it is the 2nd tallest skyscraper in Boston
  • 111 Huntington Ave.: referred to as the R2D2 building because of its open dome, it is the newest and 8th tallest skyscraper in Boston
  • 177 Huntington Ave.: constructed later in the 1970s, this slightly shorter skyscraper houses some Church administrative staff as well as office space, the bulk of which is taken up by CSN Stores

The photographer behind this photo is a web developer named Adam Bernstein. He captures both perspective and the incredible lighting visible from this vantage point. You can view this talented photog’s entire collection, many of which are also of Boston or of other cityscapes, here.
