It’s officially the holiday season, which means that your calendar will soon be filled with parties requesting both ugly sweaters and glitzy regalia, alike. This holiday party cheer often brings lots of cocktails and beer. Many holiday partygoers tend to be fans of one or the other. And when you’re presented with so many delicious sounding holiday-themed cocktails versus a wide selection of winter beers, it can be a tough decision.

But what if we told you that there is now a happy alcohol medium right here in Boston? And it’s called Lambise. Yes, we’re happy to share that a very special ‘cocktail-beer’ has officially launched in Boston this month – just in time for the holiday season.

For those unfamiliar, Lambise is a new beer with an interesting blend of Belgian Ale and Belgian Lambic. But what makes it completely unique is that it’s specifically designed to be mixed in cocktails. Yes, that’s right. You’ll no longer have to choose between beer and liquor when you can simply order both at once in a beer-cocktail. Two birds, one stone.

Not only did Lambise debut in Boston this month but currently, it is sold exclusively in the Hub. We’re a lucky bunch. Representatives from Lambise explained that they “chose to launch in Boston as the market has a great appreciation for both cocktails and beer.” An understatement if I ever heard one.

The exciting new beer, Lambise, debuted in Boston with a bang (no surprise). And was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and pizzaz at its launch party at The Hawthorne. The beer comes in two types: Lambise Classique and a Lambise Ginge. You can currently find Lambise on the menu at Silvertone in the form of a cocktail called, “Czech the Halls.”

The beer-cocktail will soon be found on other local menus in the coming months. Check out the pictures (below) from the Lambise Launch party and of the beer-cocktail combination drink, itself. Let us know what you think once you’ve tried the drink for yourself.
