Yes, you heard right. The fast-food taco-laden chain has launched the “Live Mas” online store. And according to Inquisitr, the store sells “plenty of stuff for just about everyone on the entire planet.” Although, I can’t say that everyone on the planet will want to don “Taco Bell” labels all over their apparel– but who knows.

The Live Mas store offers everything from standard t-shirts, hats and coffee mugs – to quirky paraphernalia like “foam hats shaped like a taco, some beach towels featuring the phrase ‘Make Some Waves,’ and a $59 Taco Bell speaker.”

After exploring the store for myself, I have to say that Taco Bell’s ability to expand their brand to include apparel and accessories is impressive. And, I think it will certainly be a good move for the chain’s overall brand, attracting a younger demographic.

I only hope that the Live Mas store will continue to offer even funky accessories in the future. Besides the beach towels and taco shaped hats, the Live Mas store also sells skateboards, “Taco Bell” rings,  and even school supplies.

And the best part of this Live Mas store (besides the foam shaped hats) is that all proceeds will “go to benefit the Live Mas Experience, the company’s teen charity foundation.” The move is an attempt to attract and retain loyal customers – and to hopefully profit from them later. The fast-food chain recently launched their Grilled Stuft Nacho and plans to expand into the breakfast market in 2014 – all with the intention of growing their fast-food taco empire.
