It’s been quite the day! The 118th Boston Marathon has seen some seriously gorgeous weather and some monumental moments in Boston Marathon history. From the runners to the spectators, today’s event has been epic.

So epic, in fact, that we think it calls for a strong drink. A “Boston Strong” drink, anyway.

Fortunately, there’s a bar in town serving up the themed martini to Bostonians, today. Xhale, located in the Copley Square Hotel, is serving up their very special Boston Strong Martini cocktail throughout today.

The shaken (not stirred) concoction was created to represent our city’s strength. A source from Xhale explains that “we were all shaken by the events of last year, but you can’t stir us, you can only make us stronger.”

The best part (besides the buzz) is that two dollars of the proceeds from every $10 drink will be donated to the One Fund.

But if you’re looking to make the drink yourself – and save the Boston Strong Martini for home – you can. We’ve got the ingredients below for you to shake up right at home!

Boston Strong Martini

1 1/2 oz vodka
1 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur

Garnish with lemon

Cheers!
