Tomorrow, January 16, the much-anticipated STAGE American Vaudeville Nightclub will open its doors to Boston party-goers. The downtown nightclub is the newest venture by Boston nightlife entrepreneurs Russ deMariano and Ed Brooks (Speakeasy Concepts; The Brahmin American Cuisine & Cocktails) and SJ Torres (Howl at the Moon; Down Ultra Lounge).

Guests can expect a plush nightlife ambience, reminiscent of the American Vaudeville era (think: crystal chandeliers, craft cocktails and theatrical entertainment). The multi-level nightclub has four bars, a Main Stage VIP Lounge, a “Copper Lounge,” and a room dubbed “The Library,” where the walls are lined with reprints of authentic era playbills and posters.

As far as Stage’s Vaudeville era entertainment goes, you can expect everything from glass walkers, knife throwers, burlesque and flapper dancers to hoop illusionists and magicians. So, basically you can expect pretty much anything.

Tomorrow night’s opening playbill will feature: DJ Chris Roxx; Mother Brook Studio graffiti artist, Percy Fortini-Wright; Boston Circus Guild Cyr wheel expert, Kate Law, and hoop specialist, Little L; Harlem-based hip-hop juggler, Paris; LED “Fire & Flow” performer, Ember Flynne; Cirque De Light escape artist, Andrew “Insect” Lindsay; Boston Tap Company and “Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk” alum, Sean Fielder; Red Bull BC One World Champion b-boy, El Nińo; Elton John impersonator, Bill “Elton John” Connor; and, Sparkletown Production’s burlesque vixen, JaneDoe.

If you go, STAGE is located at The Alley, 19 Boylston Place in Boston and will be open 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The cost is $10 per person. Take a look inside the new nightclub in the slideshow below!
