The ONEin3 Council brings together young adults from across Boston to work on projects designed to engage Boston’s 20-34 year-old demographic. It’s a fantastic opportunity to play a role in shaping the future of Boston and have a positive impact on your neighborhood.

Appointed by the Mayor of Boston, the ONEin3 Council meets on a monthly basis to work on projects related to innovation, entrepreneurship, economic development and city policy. This collaboration allows council members to grow their personal networks and get an inside look at municipal government.

Ask yourself: Do you take pride in living in Boston and have a desire to help move the city forward? Do you have a passion for your neighborhood and a willingness to share it with newcomers? Are you a leader who is proactive, bold, and willing to try new things in order to get people excited and engaged within the city of Boston?

If you answered “Yes” to these three question, ONEin3 wants you! Council applications are due this Friday.

To give you a sense of ONEin3’s impact, this past year, the council raised moneypublished articles and brought hundreds of young people together to explore Boston’s neighborhoods.

Being on the Council is a fun and rewarding experience. Check out our blog and get insights straight from the source – Previous council members themselves. Their insights illustrate just what it takes to be a successful council member.
