Prepare for slurp heaven this fall. Maine-based Anju Noodle Bar is heading to the Hub’s Urban Art Bar for one-night-only on November 13 to give Bostonians a taste of its innovative Korean fare.

According to a release, Anju Noodle Bar’s chef, Gary Kim, will be serving up a 3-course prix-fixe menu, which will also include a welcome cocktail from LIQS Cocktail Shots. Along with extending their reach into the Boston area, Kim and business partner Julian Armstrong, are also looking to share information about their prepared food line (Sonmat Foods), currently available at Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge and at Dave’s Fresh Pasta in Somerville.

For those unfamiliar with the Korean restaurant, Anju opened this past May in Kittery, Maine. So far, the restaurant has been met with positive reviews – and was even described by the Boston Globe as “a bright, airy little space serving rich bowls of shoyu ramen, fluffy pork buns, and Korean-style rice bowls, along with its own kimchi.”

Prior to joining forces, Armstrong “spent time at Craigie on Main and Ten Tables in Cambridge” while Kim worked at another Kittery restaurant, The Black Birch Kitchen & Drinks, notes the Boston Globe.

Tickets are now on sale for this November’s event, which include two seatings – one at 6 p.m. and one at 8 p.m.
