In Early February, shortly after the first winter storm hit kicking off a torrent of snow, a Cambridge resident had the bright idea to use the accumulation in his favor and line his wallet a little more by renting out an igloo on Airbnb. Now, after some 80 additional inches, a Boston man is following suit. Only his chill space comes with plenty of additional amenities.

Billed as a “warm charming Igloo in Boston” just “minutes away from Brighton Center,” this igloo is going for $50 per night – that’s $40 more than the one offered up in Cambridgeport earlier this month.

According to the listing the igloo accommodates 10 people, offers free wireless internet, comes with free parking on the premises, allows for pets and has some eye-catching art on the wall.

Though the listing is likely a joke (host Kyle says that for getting around there’s a “dogsled available too”), if nothing else it shows that at least some Bostonians are dealing with the snow in a light-hearted way as opposed to airing grievances out on social media or berating the City of Boston for clearing snow at the pace that it is.
