The weekend is finally here, folks! After a dreary, rainy and windy week in the Hub, we’re finally ready to welcome some sunshine back in our lives. And thankfully, that means we have yet another reason to explore Boston’s growing restaurant scene. Below are 5 spots we think are worth exploring and tasting this weekend in the Hub. Eat up!

Bagelsaurus

If you live near Porter Square, we recommend checking out its newest addition: Bagelsaurus. The tasty bagel shop opened this week and, according to its website, will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. this weekend. Check out their delicious bagel menu, here.

Goody Glover’s

In case you haven’t heard the sad news, Goody Glover’s will close its doors at the end of the month. Which means you only have a week left to kick back a Guinness at the North End’s beloved Irish bar. To learn more about the neighborhood gem, check here.

Hamersley’s Bistro

And speaking of closings, it’s your last chance to try one of Boston’s most iconic restaurants, Hamersley’s Bistro. The eatery, known for its signature dish, Hamersley’s Roast Chicken, will close at the end of October after 27 years in business. For more information on the closing, check here.

MAST’ Restaurant and Drinkery

Tomorrow, October 25, the much-anticipated MAST’ Restaurant and Drinkery will finally open to the public. The Downtown Crossing restaurant will be dishing out plenty of Neapolitan style pizza and Southern Italian fare. To find out more about this upcoming restaurant, check here.

Union Square Donuts

You should probably be eating at Union Square Donuts every weekend (and week) but given the shop’s newly opened space, we think there’s more reason than ever to check it out. The donut shop moved to its new space earlier this month, located 20 Bow Street in Somerville (still in the Union Square neighborhood, of course). Check out their donut options, here.
