Zagat put together a list of 15 must-try sandwiches from coast-to-coast and no surprise, Boston made the list.

The Crab Cake on Brioche sandwich at Legal Crossing was dubbed one of the 15 tastiest in the country. Featuring sriracha aioli, fried egg, and avocado, this crab cake sandwich puts other more traditional ones to shame. And at $17 on the lunch menu, it should give you some bang for your buck.

Legal Crossing, or LX, is a new Boston restaurant that opened last month. Owned by Legal Sea Foods, LX draws from Legal Sea Foods’ menu, but offers a fresh take on the popular chain’s dishes. It is inspired by the “urban neighborhood” of Downtown Crossing, and aims to channel this urban inspiration through its dishes.

LX has lunch, dinner, and dessert menus, and since the restaurant is open Monday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., it also has a late night menu. This menu includes such indulgent dishes as oysters, tempura skewered mussels, and lobster roll sandwiches, so you can continue to satisfy your late night seafood cravings into the early hours of the morning.
