Somerville’s Assembly Row is quickly becoming a hub for dining. From Legal Sea Food’s recently opened Legal on the Mystic to the popular Canadian-based Earls Kitchen & Bar, it seems that new joints are moving in left and right. And soon, Texas-based Which Wich, a sandwich chain, will be joining the growing list of restaurants at Assembly Row, according to Eater Boston via Banker & Tradesman.

The article reports that the sandwich chain “with over 300 locations worldwide” will open in Somerville’s Assembly Row in early November. This will also be the first Which Wich location in Massachusetts, which hopes to open 50 locations in the Boston-area, per Banker & Tradesman.

For those unfamiliar with Which Wich, the restaurant isn’t your typical sandwich shop. Diners can order off a sandwich menu that includes something for everyone. From Banh mi sandwiches to classics like turkey club sandwiches, the Which Wich has an impressive selection. Diners can even order a “surf and turf” sandwich as well as a Sriracha tuna concoction. Basically, it looks a lot like Potbelly but with (a lot) more options.

And of course, Which Wich hasn’t forgotten about dessert. The sandwich shop offers all sorts of tasty ice cream milkshakes including banana, chocolate, oreo and more. Did we mention, there are also ice cream cookie sandwiches up for grabs?

Check out the sandwich shop’s mouthwatering menu, here. And get ready for more sandwich variety in the Hub!
