Great news for Boston’s burgeoning restaurant scene today! We already know that the Boston-area is home to some of the best new restaurants in the country – but now, it’s (almost) official.

Four of the Hub’s recently opened eateries have each been nominated as one of America’s Best New Restaurants by Bon Appetit magazine. Today, the magazine announced a total of 50 restaurant nominees nationwide.

The four Boston-area nominees are Row 34, Ribelle, Alden & Harlow, and Sarma. This means that Brookline, Somerville, Boston and Cambridge restaurants are all represented on the nominee list. But which ones – if any – will make the final “Hot 10” list? We hope all of them.

All four of the Hub nominees, which received a much-deserved nod from Bon Appetit, have proved popular with both critics and Boston foodies. Bon Appetit’s final Hot 10 Best New Restaurants in America list will be revealed on August 19 – so stay tuned.
