With MLK Day on the calendar for tomorrow, most of us (hopefully all of us) will be able to enjoy a mini-break from work this weekend – making Monday, the new Sunday – not complaining. And if you’re looking to brunch it up tomorrow, January 20, we know one breakfast spot that will be opening it’s doors to celebrate your extended weekend – mimosa’s and all.

And that’s, Tremont 647. The popular South End restaurant is own and run by former Hell’s Kitchen contestant, Chef Andy Husbands. The menu isn’t your typical breakfast menu – offering a variety of brunch and lunch fare. And the eatery’s cocktails are guaranteed to give you that perfect brunch buzz.

It’s Tipsy Time — Here are the Brunch Buzz Deets

When

Tremont 647 will be serving brunch both today, January 19, and tomorrow, January 20, starting at 10:30 a.m.

Where

It should come as no surprise that Tremont 647 is located at 647 Tremont Street in the heart of Boston’s South End.

What

Where we do we even start? MLK Day brunchers can start off with Tremont 647’s homemade pop tarts (yum) or Poutine Fries – followed by the brunch spot’s Croissant Breakfast Sammy. For just $12, this sammy comes with maple sausage, cheese, a fried egg, and roasted garlic herb pistou – truly delish.

The Brunch Buzz Drink

This brunch drink choice was easy. Although Tremont 647 offers a wide variety of breakfast cocktails including, Bellinis, a rum punch and Bloody Mary’s, it’s the restaurant’s “Big Girl” Mimosa that hits the spot. Brunchers have the choice of ordering a regular size mimosa with cava and orange juice – or, for another $2, bumping that bubbly up with the restaurant’s “big girl” option (a.k.a. the only option on your day off from work).

Cheers to Monday – the new Sunday!
