You’ve got to love Boston and its residents’ perpetual pride in their sports teams. Even if you love to hate Boston sports, there’s a mutual respect there; you know we’re dominant, we know we’re dominant, and that’s that. But the extent and depth of said pride never fails to amaze me. In local grocery stores, for instance, you might find Sox promotions and pictures, but the work of art below is something all together unique.

Boom.

So dedicated are the Hub’s humble grocery store employees to the Red Sox and achieving World Series glory that they organized their 12-pack cans of soda to represent the iconic logo in flawless fashion.

By nature I’m not one of those rub-your-local-sports-team’s-success-in-your-face kind of guy, but come on. Where else have we seen sheer craft and beauty like this that personifies an everyday Bostonian’s utter content with their athletics?

The image recently showed up on the photo-sharing site imgur and Reddit and has been aptly called in the comments section, “a feat of modern engineering.”

The Red Sox snatched game one from the talons of the St. Louis Cardinals in convincing fashion and look to the same tonight in game 2, commencing at 8:07 pm ET.
