In less than 3 days, the streets of the city will be filled with scantily clad Bostonians as they don their bras, panties and tighty-whities all in the name of charity.

This Saturday, February 15, hundreds of Bostonians will gather at Fenway to take part in Boston’s first Cupid’s Undie Run, the world’s largest organized underwear run. The event benefits the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CMT), and will be co-hosted by WROR’s Hank Morse, Lauren Beckham Falcone and others from the Morning Show crew.

According to a release, the hosts plan to “join hundreds of underwear clad Bostonians on Yawkey Way and take to the streets in celebration of their fundraising for the CMT.”

The Cupid’s Undie Run, sponsored by MeUndies, combines a pre-race party, an approximate one-mile run and a return to the party. And a “party” it certainly will be – as the event is held worldwide in over 27 cities across the United States and two cities in Australia.

The underwear run was founded in 2010 by Brendan Hanrahan, Chad Leathers and Bobby Gill after Chad’s brother was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF). They set off on a mission to raise awareness and donations to the Children’s Tumor Foundation cause and the rest is history.

But true to their website, the Cupid’s Undie Run is clearly putting the “hilarity back in charity.” For those looking to don their undies and running shoes, you can register online through February 15, here.
