Before your weekend comes to an official close – and before the Oscars begin – make sure you treat yourself to an Oscar-worthy brunch. One which is sure to win all sorts of awards – at least in your BBQ loving book.

This Sunday morning, we recommend hitting up Deep Ellum in Allston. Not only do they serve up brunch 7 days a week, but the restaurant also serves up one of the best breakfasts in Boston. Plus, their affordable fare won’t leave a hole in your wallet.

What

If you’re heading to Deep Ellum for brunch, you’re in for a BBQ-filled treat. The restaurant serves up a “BBQ Breakfast” with braised pork shoulder, cornbread, mustard aioli with a fried egg. Did we mention it’s only $9? Or if you’re in the mood for something sweet, try their Fall River French Toast – made with Portuguese sweet bread, spices powdered sugar and maple syrup.

The Brunch Buzz Drink

Deep Ellum has a long list of cocktails, whiskey drinks and (of course) draft beer. But for brunch, there’s only one breakfast drink that will both wake you up and give you that brunch buzz – and that’s the Cafe Sancho. The drink is made with Karma Roasters coffee, reposado tequila, agave, mole bitters – and topped with Mexican chocolate whipped cream. Enjoy!
