Good morning sunshine – it’s time to brunch. My guess is you’ve just awoken with a serious hankering for some savory breakfast foods but are looking to leave the cooking to someone else. As you should.

Fortunately for all the hungry and hung over Boston residents, Stoddard’s Fine Food & Ale is now serving brunch. Yes, after a bit of a brunch hiatus, the downtown restaurant is officially launching a brunch menu today. The menu includes a Hair O’ the Dog brunch cocktail list and affordable brunch foods – all hovering in the $10 to $15 range. So without further ado…

It’s Tipsy Time — Here are the Brunch Buzz Deets

When

Stoddard’s Sunday brunch doesn’t start until 10:30a.m. — leaving you plenty of time get your Sunday snooze on.

Where

The restaurant is located downtown at 48 Temple Place in Boston.

What to Eat

This brand spanking new brunch features classics like Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and an Egg Sandwich with hot sauce (yum). But the brunch also includes a few options for those who are looking to skip breakfast and go straight to lunch. You can try Stoddard’s Pulled Pork sandwich, warm pretzels with Dijon mustard or the Stoddard’s Burger with the typical LTO and house-made B&B pickles, with added options of bacon or fried egg (mine!).

And most importantly…

 The Brunch Buzz Drink

If you’ve arrived at this brunch with the sole purpose of recovering from last night’s bad (or good?) decisions, you are in luck. The new brunch is featuring a “Hair O’ The Dog” drink menu  — appropriately named (if I do say so myself). These tipsy cocktails will offer you just the right amount of Sunday morning kick.

You can try any of their yummy brunch cocktails including the “Wilbur Scoville” with Vida Mezacal, tomato juice and Sriracha, or my pick, the “French 75” with Gin, Lemon, Simple and Bubbles.

After you imbibe on these delicious drinks, enjoy a short walk around the winding downtown streets and make your way to the Boston Common — perfect for a Sunday stroll.
