That’s right, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh created his first BuzzFeed. We don’t know what that means, exactly, but it sounds like the mayor just launched a new media startup.

But seriously, Mayor Walsh wrote a BuzzFeed listicle.

“The Mayor looks forward to using BuzzFeed as another tool to get the word out and is excited to share some lighthearted St. Patrick’s Day fun with the BuzzFeed community,” city spokesperson Gabrielle Farrell told BostInno.

Here’s the headline the mayor ran with: “BOSTON OVERTAKEN BY SNOW!”

The subhead:

Over eight feet of snow – or one billion cubic feet – fell in Boston in less than 30 days. Crews plowed 295,000 miles of roadway, removed over 30,000 truckloads of snow from city streets, and melted 50,000 tons of snow at Boston’s snow farms. But was it enough to save the city?

The mayor’s post was published at 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Here’s the note at the bottom of the post: “Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Mayor Marty Walsh and the City of Boston!”
