It is being reported that one was injured at a school shooting at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, NC. News14Carolina confirms a 15-year “was shot in the neck and shoulder, but is conscious and alert.” Police are saying that one person is now in custody.

Local Fox News affiliate MyFox8 says “The first reports came in shortly after 2:30 p.m” but did not disclose any further information regarding the victim or the suspect now in custody.

The school is currently under lockdown withAt least 30 officers having responded to the scene, though it is not clear for how long it will remain so.

The school had a home football game Friday night against RJ Reynolds. It has since been canceled.
