Sure, Bostonians love Chef Ken Oringer’s Toro in the South End – who doesn’t? But when he, along with Chef Jamie Bissonnette, decided to open a second tapas eatery in New York City, it’s popularity grew by leaps and bounds.

And now, it looks like Chef Ken Oringer is looking to pay homage to the city where Toro’s popularity all started.

According to a release, the chef plans to bring a taste of Toro NYC back to his Boston flagship restaurant, Clio. And for a limited time, guests can “sample an assortment of tapas served at the NYC hotspot without leaving Back Bay.”

The bar items include: Abalone with Brown Butter, Parsley and Migas, Deviled Farm Eggs with Conserved Tuna Belly,  Fried Chicken Liver with Stuffed Sage Leaves, and Jamon Iberico.

And considering it’s Toro NYC, which recently received two stars from restaurant critic, Pete Wells of The New York Times, you know it won’t be disappointing. The NYC outpost has also received a good amount of praise from critics nationwide.

The bites will be available at the bar only – first come, first served. You can find the limited time tapas at Clio, Monday – Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday/Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

We recommend grabbing these savory bites before they return to the Big Apple!
